This weekend, in Stevens Point, you will have to the opportunity to visit the Wisconsin State Firefighters Convention. Today, March 6th, visit the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Stevens Point. The convention runs until Saturday, March 7th.
The public is welcome to come and explore the convention. There will be several displays set up, as well as presentations. Today, Friday, March 6 at 7:00 pm, you can see a special presentation on, “The Silent Killer,” presented by Randolph Mantooth.
Registered attendees will be able to take several classes including Fire and Explosion Analysis, Railroad 101, WI Emergency Traffic Control & Scene Management Guidelines Training, ISO Rating Schedule, and Grain Bin Rescue.
