The weekend is almost here, and it’s time to start thinking about how your going to spend your little 2 day vacation. Central Wisconsin is filled with activities and events on the weekends. Even in the cold weather people still find themselves braving the elements. For example, this weekend in Rosholt the Blizzard Busters snowmobile club is hosting it’s annual fisheree on Lake Helen.
The ice fishing competition begins at 10:00 am and goes until 4 pm. Prizes will be given out in each fish category to both children and adults. There will also be a raffle at the event that begins at 4:30 pm in the heated outdoor tent. If ice fishing isn’t exactly your thing, you can always get some food and refreshments in the heated tent. Whatever you choose to do at the fisheree, it is sure to be a fun time.
The Rosholt Blizzzard Busters Fisheree will be on Lake Helen in Rosholt on Saturday, January 11th. The lake is east of Rosholt on hwy 49, the festivities will be held at the Morning Wood Bar & Grill at 3204 Lake Helen Road in Rosholt.
