This weekend, visit the “Crayons, Candlesticks, and Champagne,” event in Stevens Point. On Saturday, February 21, the Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum will bring together local artists, community leaders, families and friends for a gala to celebrate childlike wonder.
There will be a live auction where local artists and community leaders will be creating one-of-a-kind candlestick holders. These candlestick holders will be included in a live auction. Other event highlights include a silent auction, community art projects, children’s art gallery, a raffle, appetizers, cash bar, music, and more.
The Central Wisconsin Children’s Museum encourages adults to play an active role in their children’s education. At the event, artists will provide their interpretation of the candlestick holders. Community leaders will also provide their interpretation of the candlestick holders. This will educate adults and families about the importance of bringing art into the home and encouraging artistic expression amongst children.
The event begins at 7:00 pm and goes until 10:00 pm. Crayons, Candlesticks, and Champagne will be at SentryWorld Sports Center located at 601 N. Michigan Avenue in Stevens Point. Tickets to the event are $40 in advance or $55 at the door.
We hope you have a wonderful weekend and have enjoyed this installment of the Weekend Beat.
