On September 13th, 2014, experience all of the fun that Amherst has to offer and indulge in the Celebrate Amherst River Fest. The event begins at 10 am. on Saturday and runs until dusk. Make sure you stop by this weekend and see all the wonderful things that Amherst has to offer.
Main Street in Amherst will be shut down for a variety of food, crafts, artisans and fundraising events. It’s a great way to bring attention to local businesses and for people to see all the great things are in Amherst. Historically, Amherst has a lot to offer including cultural, recreational, and natural resources that you will have the opportunity to explore.
There will be live music to enjoy that will allow you to experience musical instruments and voices that are blended with colorful arts, crafts, outdoor workshops, demonstrations, and much more. There will be a no-cover evening concert that features a variety of genres of music including pop, rock, and country music. There will also be delicious food to try and beverages provided by the Central Waters Brewing Company for those 21+.
