Begin by mixing your white cake mix as directed on the box. Once mixed, divide the cake mix into two bowls equally.
Dye one of the mixtures orange, and the other one yellow. Pour each of the batters into 10 inch round baking pans that are floured and greased.
Bake each of the cakes for about 10 minutes.
Let the cakes cool for a little bit. Next, remove them from the pan and place on cooling rack until they cool to room temperature.
Then place cakes in freezer for about 20 minutes.
Now, it’s time to layer your push pops. Take cakes out of freezer and place them on the counter.
Mix together your white frosting with orange dye in one bowl. Also, mix together the yellow dye with the white frosting in another bowl. Place both the frosting mixes into small Ziploc bags and cut a small corner of the bag to create a frosting piping bag. You should also create a frosting piping bag with the leftover white frosting.
Using your push pop, cut the cakes with a push pop. Orange cake on the bottom, then a layer of orange frosting, yellow cake, yellow frosting, and then top with white frosting using the frosting pipe.
Now, enjoy your Halloween-inspired candy corn push pops.
