Looking to give back this holiday season?
Why don’t you give to somebody who may not have anybody to receive gifts from this holiday season. The “Be a Santa to a Senior” program is through the Home Instead Senior Care office in Stevens Point. The program allows anybody to sponsor a senior who doesn’t have many friends or family to visit them with holiday cheer this season.
What you can do to help:
- By going to a local Associated Bank in either Stevens Point or Plover, there is a tree set up with small ornaments on it. You pick one of the ornaments off the tree and you are given a sheet with a list of possible gifts that you can get for a senior.
- All you have to do is pick up some gifts that you think somebody would like and drop them off at the location indicated on your sheet.
Melissa Blenker, one of our agents at Community Insurance participated in this program this year. Melissa picked out some wonderful gifts to give. She picked out a cozy fleece jacket, slippers, calendars, and some soap and body products.
