Looking for something to do this weekend? There is a great event happening this called a parade of homes. Homes within the area are chosen to be featured so people from the community can get ideas, see beautiful homes, and showcase local builders.
From May 31-June3 is the Golden Sands Home Builders Parade of Homes. It will be from 4pm-8pm on Friday and Monday and 12pm-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $7 in advance until Thursday at noon from these local businesses or when you arrive at any Parade Home it is $8 the day of. They will be showcasing 14 new homes this year built by 9 builders throughout Portage County.
This is a great and fun way to not only see local homes, but also to also check out the way people decorate their homes or the way it could be decorated. See everything from new trends in lights, floorings, windows, cabinets, and more. This is also a great event to remind all of us to get home owners or renters insurance. Whether you are renting a condo or are renting a home to buy or already own your own home you need insurance. Unforeseen events can always happen in a home or even general upkeep that does not happen can harm the structure of your home. Having insurance can save you lots of money during these times.
