Only ONE day until YOU decide which of our team member’s chili recipe is number one! We’ve been posting about our chili cookoff a lot over the past few weeks, so we thought we’d condense all the information for you in one blog post.
The cookoff is TOMORROW: Friday, November 9th from 3:00—6:00 p.m. at our Iola office, located at 130 N. Main St. in Iola.
Many of our team members are cooking up a batch of chili for you to taste and judge. There will be about 10 chili recipes there for you to sample, so come hungry!
After the cookoff, the scores will be added up and we will announce the team member with the best chili. That team member will donate the proceeds from the cookoff to a community charity of their choice.
Potential donation recipients include:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Portage County
- Boys and Girls Club of Portage County
- The Humane Society of Portage County
- The Iola Food Pantry
- Tomorrow River Area Community Kitchen (TRACK)
- And more!
After you score all the chili recipes, make sure to write your name and phone number on your scorecard and give it to a Community Insurance team member to be entered in our prize drawing!
We sent out an email invitation last Friday with more information. Didn’t receive the email? Make sure we have your email on file by giving us a call and speaking with one of our team members. We also send other fun and informative emails throughout the year, so you’re really missing out if we don’t have your email address!
