Keep in Shape Over Winter: Phil's November Golf Tip

Much to the dismay of many summer-loving people (such as myself), the days continue to get colder and we continue to get glimpses of winter.  Needless to say, it’s far from golf season, but that doesn’t mean you should stop worrying about your golf game!  Our agent Phil is here for our monthly golf tip.

“When the Golf season ends, we start celebrating the Holidays with FOOD FOOD FOOD. It’s easy to put on 15-20 pounds by the time we start thinking about hitting the golf ball in the spring. It would be nice to have a trainer or a fitness gym, but the easy and most productive exercise is walking. There might be some winter days when it’s too cold or windy, but once you start winter walking it can be very refreshing and rewarding. Be in shape for the Spring golf!”

The cold of winter can make you want to just curl up in your pajamas and drink hot chocolate, but think about how much better that hot chocolate would feel after you take a walk outside.  The cold winter air is not only refreshing but can ward off viruses since no germs can survive in the cold.  Just make sure to bundle up and head back inside if you start to feel too cold.

Stay in shape this winter and you’ll see improvements in your golf game next spring!
