Today marks the beginning of the 2014 Farm Technology Days in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Farm Technology Days is the largest agricultural show in Wisconsin and one of the largest in the United States. Every year, a different county in Wisconsin hosts it and this year it will be held in Portage County for the first time in a number of years.
The show begins on Tuesday, August 12th and goes until Thursday August 14th. Gates for the show open at 9 am every day and it goes until 5 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, the show will close to the public at 4 pm. Admission to the event is $6 at the gate and children ages 12 and under are free. Also, parking is free.
There will be hundreds of exhibitors at this year’s Farm Technology Days that will be ready to show you the great products they have available to farmers. This year, you will find the Community Insurance & Associates booth in the Tent City area. We will be having representatives from a few of the companies we represent there with us explaining their farm insurance product to consumers. We will also have some great giveaways including carpenter pencils, fly swatters, and much more.
