4th of July Festivities You Won’t Want to Miss

It’s time to celebrate the red, white & blue and we’ve got the perfect events for you! Central Wisconsin never disappoints this time of year—with dazzling firework displays, festivals, parades, and tons of activities to keep the kids entertained!

Riverfront Rendezvous- Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

Join the party all weekend long at Pfiffner Pioneer Park in Stevens Point on June 30th through July 2nd. The festival takes place along the beautiful Wisconsin River and offers live music (including well-known performers), food tents, poetry readings, contests, and so much more. Kids Day will be held at the South Tent from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2nd. Stop by for games, prizes, and lots of fun! There’s surely something for the whole family to enjoy.

Looking forward to fireworks? The riverfront fireworks display just got better! Due to a fundraising campaign organized by Mayor Wiza, the fireworks celebration is predicted to be bigger and better this year. You don’t want to miss it! Watch the iconic Lighted Boat Parade at Bukolt Park starting at 9:15 p.m. on Sunday followed by the fireworks show you’ve been waiting for. On Monday, July 3rd, head to Taylor Field at dusk for a spectacular fireworks display at 405 Water Street.
Fourth of July Holiday Parade- Stevens Point, Wisconsin
On Tuesday, July 4th, grab your little ones and head to Main Street in Stevens Point at 11 a.m. for the 4th of July Holiday Parade!

Fourth of July Water Ski Show- Stevens Point, Wisconsin

From 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, enjoy an entertaining and festive Water Ski Show at Bullheads Bar & Grill, 3368 Campsite Drive in Stevens Point, free of charge. Just be sure to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to relax on while enjoying the show!

Fourth of July Family Fun Fest- Amherst, Wisconsin

A vintage car parade, children’s games and activities, lots of food, and fireworks beginning at dusk are all in store. The Fourth of July Family Fun Fest, held by the Tomorrow River Lions and Lionesses, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Amherst Fairgrounds, 5404 Fair Ground Road.

Fourth of July Parade- Waupaca, Wisconsin

Kick off the day’s festivities with Waupaca’s 4th of July Parade. Make your way down to Main Street at 10 a.m. to celebrate!

Waupaca Knights of Columbus Chicken Barbeque-
Waupaca, Wisconsin

Don’t feel like cooking? Head to South Park after the parade, just a few blocks from Waupaca’s downtown area for food and fun all day long. Hotdogs, hamburgers, barbequed chicken, popcorn, nachos, cotton candy, and soda will be available.

Chain Skiers Performance- Waupaca, Wisconsin

The Waupaca Chain Skiers are known for their impressive talent and this performance is sure to entertain the whole family! The show will take place on Rainbow Lake behind the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King at 6:30 p.m.

Fireworks over Shadow Lake- Waupaca, Wisconsin

Another stunning fireworks display will be held at South Park over Shadow Lake beginning at 9:30 p.m. This may be your last chance to view fireworks!
